First and Third…

This is the first real official entry of my new blog and today marks the 3rd year of my new life! PTL!

Just trying out Movable Type on my new domain/server and don’t really have time to customize things and all, so just using the default layout first. Till then, also waiting for Victor’s PHP Blog script.

I realised I got so so many many things to do during the holidays that I don’t seem to have time to finish them all, and now don’t even have much time to blog! Sigh. And this week’s YM camp, and another week and a half, it’s new year…so fast! Now, wondering if I ever have time to edit the Victoria Challenge Videos…

Now, into more serious things…today, 13th of December 2003, marks the two full years I’ve been walking with the Lord, wow, how things have changed so much. As Alex would put in, I have grown spiritually and have held my faith all along. I’ve been through many ups and downs, and gradually serving the Lord through music and other means. And, thinking back of all the past experiences…Phew! Too long to list them…

Now, I just want to thank Jesus for all the things that He has done for me, and for the many mini-miracles and the things He is going to do in future. Glory to God in the Highest…

Today’s worship was excellent. First time I played two weeks in a row, due to Sharon K and Youde going to Cambodia for Mission Trip, and Jeremiah also led two weeks…we had a great time trying to bring back Hillsong after the Planet Shakers “fever” initiated by Joshua. Today did More Than Life, One Desire, Highest amongst others. Highest instrumental went quite well, and I realised that my free worship playing improved quite a lot. In the middle of free worship, I felt a prod on my chin, pushing my head up,…wondering was that my nervous system doing some funny things, or God moving…

Recently I have Jehovah’s Witnesses

Recently I have Jehovah’s Witnesses knocking on my door twice.

On Sunday, the first time, my door was open with gate locked. first time they came, they asked for my parents, but my parents busy, so i say not at home. so they talked to me about the Bible, then I thought that they were nice people just spreading the good news, so i let them say what they want to say. so he asked, me is there peace in this world? then saying Satan is real and is working, show me some relevations scripture, and that God has power over Satan etc. things that we agree on. then i told him, actually i’m a christian but my parents aren’t. then he saw the xmas tree in my house, then i explained that my mum celebrates xmas anyway. so at this point of time, i don’t know about them being as JW yet, as there was no clue yet. then they (a guy and woman) say they would come back another day to share more.

Then, yesterday afternoon, they came again while I was eating lunch. this time the guy came with another different woman, and i still don’t know they were JW yet. he say he wan to show me something, took out a brochure (ahhh), and even commented “wow the wind strong eh” (wind was blowing). then the brochure reads “life in a peaceful New World”, then i say i am having lunch, so he explained a bit and gave me the brochure. he ask is it possible to have peace? then he flipped a bit, so i thought nothing wrong, talking about peace during Christ’s kingdom’s reign after the end of the world. so i took the brochure, and i still didn’t know cos i havnt read the brochure. i even did a short prayer for them silently after they left that they will spread the good news successfully!! (oops!) After that, i read the brochure, then i saw at the end: “For more information, please write to ‘Jehovah’s Witnesses’ to the following addresses:….” I was like…Oh dear! WHAT! I immediately changed my prayer. i was so shocked at the word JW, i go read carm.org and everything they say on carm is what is mentioned in the brochure and how they preach. Then i read up more, they believe in funny stuff, and they are banned in SG, i was so shocked and wonder why they believe such funny things. And they said they might come back again, I wonder what should I say when they come back.
