Final Assignment: Untitled

This is an interactive artwork produced with Hans, Ai Lin and Yin Yue, done in Adobe Flash Professional. I helped out with some of the artwork, like the male shoe image, but I concentrated most on the Actionscript and integrated the elements together in flash. The last time I touched Actionscript was more than a year ago, but it was good to brush up my skills. I found two free scripts online for the eraser effect, and the explosion/implosion effect, and managed to integrate them well into all the art pieces. I also did the tweening animation for the catapult and the stone, and added the other interface elements such as the back button, instructions button, close button.

Description: What are the brands that we treasure and buy? Do they matter? What if everything in this world is untitled and unbranded? Explore the different items that we purchase, such as a shoe, and find out by erasing or using the stone on the catapult, and see your brands being revealed.
