Portfolio Creation
I was largely inspired by the Windows Phone “Metro” User Interface Design Language, and hence I decided to create my portfolio based on their principles. I like how they “Celebrate Typography” and made everything “Clean and Light”.
I used the “Segoe UI” font, which is used on all Windows Phones (and in future, Windows 8). I find the huge fonts refreshing, and I also mimicked the “live tiles” view for the contents page (see picture below). Hence, it looks like some user interface with the different boxes, but I think it looks clean and elegant.
