Degree of Abstraction

I decided to expand the ‘no dangling of (power) cables’ idea in the library and created a pictogram. The steps of the degree of abstraction are shown below:

1. Full view of laptop, power adapter, table and chair
2. Zoomed in
3. Removal of chair in the middle
4. Removal of table and simplifcation of cable twisting
5. Removal of laptop screen and further simplifcation of twisting

Personally, I think step 4 or 5 are suitable for the prototype and is not too abstract to understand.
