We realised that in the previous work, there were some continuity errors in picture 1 and 2. Also, the picture 3 with the watch could be better with a facial expression of the person feeling frustrated/late.
With that in mind, Meng Hui and I went to re-take some of our shots. Picture 1 now shows the full body of the person, creating an establishing shot. Picture 3 now includes a facial expression. Motion blur was also added to the person and the bus in most of the pictures to create the effect of moving away. Lastly, Picture 8 was re-taken to increase the size and contrast of the text on the iPhone.

We took our photos based on the new storyboard and this is what we got. After putting the photos together, I realised that there is not enough facial expressions and there is a continuity error in photo no. 1, 2, 3 as firstly, the bus is a different bus, and secondly, the ground beneath the watch looks like the person has walked back to the position in 1. I think we will retake photos 1, 2 and 3 as feedback from the tutors is that photo 3 can be better if there is a facial expression of the person feeling late. Also, photo 8 needs to be clear enough when printed. We possibly have to try and/or retake it also. Need to add motion blurs to the running scenes too. But I guess this story is better than the first one.

Meng Hui and I decided to redo our picture story since feedback was that suicide stories are quite cliche. So we decided to do a story based in NUS. Here’s a sketch of the storyboard:
